Short version: we don't sell your data

If you sign up for the Thursday text, we store your phone number, the source of the signup (e.g. hero form, footer form), and your consent choices. We use that number only to send the weekly SMS and to honor opt-outs. You can reply STOP at any time and we stop texting you.

If you also choose to share an email address and tick the email box, we store that address and use it only for the occasional updates you agreed to. We never treat typing an address as consent — only the checkbox is.

To keep bots and abuse off the signup and admin login forms, we also keep short-lived technical logs of form attempts: a browser fingerprint, a one-way hash of the IP address (never the raw IP), and the browser's user-agent string. These logs are used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

If you email us, we keep that thread in our inbox so we can reply and follow up. That is it — no CRM, no resale, no ad partners.

Phone numbers and email addresses stay on the list until you opt out or ask us to delete them. Anti-abuse attempt logs are deleted automatically after 90 days. Past event listings are part of the public site archive and contain no personal information.

The site uses a small number of first-party cookies strictly for session handling (for example, our admin login). We do not run third-party advertising trackers. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later, we will list them here.

We use an SMS provider to deliver the weekly text — your number is shared with them only for that purpose. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing hello@boothsf.com. Removals happen within a few business days.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and note the date at the top. Substantial changes will be called out in the weekly text.
